  • West Virginia governor Jim Justice on Friday authorized a bill appropriating USD 105 million (EUR 99m) for a battery plant of Form Energy, a Somerville, Massachusetts-based company establishing iron-air battery modern technology that can store power for 100 hours.

The bill was authorized at the previous Weirton Steel mill in Weirton, along the Ohio River, which will end up being home to Form Energy's first industrial battery manufacturing center.
