Chinese manufacturer Trina Solar is to provide modules to the Futura 1 photovoltaic or pv project in Brazil, the first stage of which will certainly have capability of 850MW.

Futura 1 will certainly comprise 3 stages, comprised of 22 specific centers created by Focus Energia, at Juazeiro in the Bahia region.

Trina Solar said the first modules will leave China in 108 containers in the second week of August with 59,292 pieces of 600W collection of devices.

The bifacial modules, with 210 mm cells, belong to the Vertex line, it added.

Construction is underway with procedures scheduled to begin in April 2022.
