Researchers at the University of Hanover want to enhance BIPV
Roof covering surfaces covered with solar systems are not enough to meet power demands, particularly in non-residential structures. "However, because surface area mounting on the exterior is critically identified in terms of aesthetic appeals as well as preparation and setup, facade surfaces typically remain extra," discusses Katharina Klemt-Albert, head of the Institute for Construction Management as well as Digital Building at Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH).
