Huayu New Energy introduces 'world's thinnest' microinverters
- PV inverter expert Huayu New Energy has actually upgraded its portfolio of single-module microinverters, introducing them in the Brazilian market this month.
Compatible with solar module dimensions from 300W to 750W, the new products have a density of 22mm, making them the thinnest solar microinverters in the world, according to Huayu.
The upgraded variety-- including the HY-300/ 400/500/600-Pro designs-- have a DC input voltage of 60Vdc. Consisting of AC cable televisions and connectors, a lot of the brand-new versions have a weight of 2.2 kg.
China-headquartered Huayu New Energy claimed that when creating the new array, its R&D designers struck a balance between thickness, functioning performance and also warm dissipation.
The microinverters' thin and flat design suggests there is a sufficient space between component backsheets, guaranteeing even more airflow, while added screw holes to the side of the products enable simpler setting up on site, according to Huayu.
The news follows Huayu New Energy's launch in 2020 of its 'HY 2000 Plus' microinverter which works with 500-580Wp large-area solar panels.
