What are Frameless panels?
A type of photovoltaic panels with no metal frame round their edge. As a rule, they do not have a plastic backing, but consist of PV cells layered between the glass sheets. That is why such modules are usually referred to as glass-glass or double glass. This kind of solar device has both its pros and cons. What is good about it is that no water is collected at the frame bottom, even if the module is tilted at low angle. The flaw of such panels is their high weight and price.
