Eku Energy partners with Tokyo Gas for a cutting-edge energy storage project in Japan, set to power thousands of homes for hours on end.

Eku Energy is set to construct two 130 MWh battery storage systems in Basildon, Essex and Loudwater, Buckinghamshire. Completion is expected by the end of 2024 with 1.2GWh of battery storage currently in delivery across six sites. NHOA Group is partnering with Eku for this project.

Eku Energy and Renera Energy have signed an agreement granting 1GW of battery project rights to Eku Energy in Italy. The agreement will help Italy reach its 2030 renewable energy target of 65%. Eku and Renera will collaborate to deliver secure and reliable energy storage solutions. Italy is expected to become the 3rd largest energy storage market by 2030.

The Big Canberra Battery project is a large-scale storage facility in Williamsdale. Eku Energy will certainly be accountable for building as well as operation of the project. The BESS project, secured at an expense of as much as $400 million, is slated for construction in 2024. It will certainly achieve completion the following year.
