TotalEnergies has won a concession to build Angola's initial solar plant.

The 35MW Quilemba project also has the possibility of including 45MW in a second phase.

The plant will certainly be situated in the southern city of Lubango and must begin stream at the end of 2023.

It will contribute to the decarbonization of Angola's power mix and also, via a fixed-price power acquisition contract.
