Soltech Group has completed a 5.8-MW solar park in Halland, Sweden, and is now selling electricity to the local grid. The project, owned by Soltech and delivered by its subsidiary Soltech Energy Solutions, is expected to generate revenues of approximately SEK 150 million over its 40-year operational lifespan. The Oringe solpark in Getinge, near Halmstad, covers 70,000 sq m and is equipped with 8,780 PV panels, producing an estimated 5.7 GWh of power annually, enough for 1,200 homes.
Construction of the solar park began in July 2023, and Soltech has commissioned a total of 114 MWp of solar PV capacity in the past year. This marks an increase from the 101 MWp deployed in 2022, as reported in the company's annual financial report.
