What is NMC?

Abbreviation from Nickel Manganese Cobalt. A type of Li-ion batteries with the cathode consisting of approximately equal parts of cobalt, manganese and nickel. Such batteries are perfectly suitable for e-vehicles. As for stationary energy storage, their cycle life is too short and they degrade too fast. For such applications, consider other options, for example Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries.
