Iberdrola closer to constructing 318-MW solar farm in Spain

- Spanish electric utility Iberdrola SA (BME: IBE) stated that it had actually obtained environmental approval to assemble a 318-MW solar PV plant in Salamanca province, western Spain.
The large-scale scale project, named Ciudad Rodrigo after the district that will host it, will certainly move a financial investment of EUR 200 million (USD 215.6 m). Iberdrola stated it would need to use over 826,000 solar modules and also employ approximately 800 workers during construction.
