OX2 is creating industrial-scale solar energy plants in Kauhajoki in the areas of South Ostrobothnia as well as Loimaa in Finland.

When finished, the mixed energy manufacturing of the parks will represent the annual electrical power consumption of at most more than 100,000 families.

One of the projects, Kauhajoki Aurinkonevat, has a capacity of concerning 500MW and is just one of the biggest solar energy projects in Finland.

Another project, Loimaa Keinusuo, is 60MW.

The performance as well as production volumes of the projects will be specified as the preparation progresses.

"We make our projects in line with the high sustainability goals.

"Our goal is nature-positive projects that bring economic benefits to the areas and also produce jobs, specifically throughout the building and construction and operation phases," claimed Taru Rantaruoko, Project Manager of the schemes.

The technological planning, environmental researches and permitting of the projects have been launched.

If essential, the projects will certainly likewise be subject to an ecological influence assessment (EIA).

The aim is to start the building of both projects within the following 2-4 years.
