PNE AG, a global independent project developer and service provider for renewable energy projects, has agreed to sell five solar projects totalling 208MW to TotalEnergies Renewables. The deal will see the projects transferred at the ready-to-build stage and is part of TotalEnergies' expansion into Eastern Europe. Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE, has commented that the deal confirms PNE's Scale Up 2.0 strategy, extending their business model while enhancing company value. PNE has been active in Romania for over 10 years, with 510MW of wind and solar projects sold and 1GW under development. The purchase price for the transaction has not been disclosed.
