Statkraft signs Spanish PPA with Foresight Solar
- Norwegians to take power from PV projects in Andalusia for 10 years
Statkraft has signed to power purchase agreement with Foresight Solar to take power from the latter's almost 100MW Spanish solar portfolio.
The ten-year off-take bargain covers 3 subsidy-free greenfield properties situated in the Andalusia region that were acquired by Foresight on 31 December 2020.
The portfolio gets on track to begin procedures in June 2022.
The PPA supplies Foresight Solar with a 10-year fixed cost for about 70% of the portfolio's annual production and also raises the firm's profits exposure, it claimed.
Foresight supervisor Ross Driver stated: "We are delighted to have protected this PPA with Statkraft.
" It secures an eye-catching level of gotten incomes for our Spanish portfolio over an one decade duration and also represents one more significant landmark in the growth of Foresight Solar's worldwide procedures."
