Solar PV programmer Cox Energy America targets twin listing on Spanish stock exchange

  • Solar programmer Cox Energy America, a subsidiary of Spanish company Cox Energy, is to provide on the Spanish stock exchange as it looks at twin listing and also boosted growth prospects.

Announced recently to its investors, the listing will certainly see Cox Energy America acquire far better access to funding markets via the Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) Growth stock exchange, a sub-market of Spanish company BME that arranges the Spain's national stock exchange.

The authorisation to checklist was offered during the company's General Shareholders' conference hung on 16 November.

"Cox Energy America's double listing will enable us to access to a greater number of financiers, enhancing the visibility as well as marketability of the stock as well as hence, we will certainly be able to supply a greater go back to our shareholders," stated José Antonio Hurtado de Mendoza, Chief Executive Officer of Cox Energy America.

Cox Energy America was the first photovoltaic solar energy company to be noted on a Latin American stock exchange when it detailed on the Mexican Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA), according to a company statement.

"I am encouraged that the Company has the skill, structure as well as tools required to be able to run actively in both the Mexican as well as Spanish securities market," stated Mendoza, adding that the company would "remain to look for capitalisation options that ensure our growth".
