Shizen finishes 2.9-MWp solar plant at ski resort in Nagano

• Japanese renewables programmer Shizen Energy Inc has actually started the commercial operation of a 2.9-MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Nagano prefecture.

Found at the neighborhood ski resort in Otaki village, the solar power plant covers an area of 3 hectares (7.4 acres). The company expects the PV park to produce practically 389,000 kWh per year, enough to satisfy the usage of concerning 600 local homes.
