As introduced in early January 2021, the contract on the sale was struck with Denmark-based solar capitalist Obton A/S.

The offer was settled on March 19, ReneSola said. The rate was not divulged.

The Hungarian portfolio includes 20 operating solar farms located across 5 areas. The plants were linked to the grid in 2020 as well as get approved for the Hungarian 25-year KAT feed-in-tariff plan.

Last year, Obton went shopping in Hungary, acquiring a 15-MW of solar from ReneSola and also 2 commissioned solar farms from German renewables developer ABO Wind AG.
