Intersect Power LLC has closed an up-to-USD-800-million revolving corporate credit facility to support the delivery of renewable energy production and storage, as well as green hydrogen projects. A consortium of Deutsche Bank AG, Nomura Securities International and Santander Corporate & Investment Banking served as Coordinating Lead Arrangers and Joint Bookrunners. This deal follows a USD-1-billion growth equity investment from TPG Rise Climate, CAI Investments, and Trilantic Energy Partners North America. Intersect Power's current base portfolio includes 2.2 GW of solar and 1.4 GWh of co-located storage in operation or being commissioned. CEO Sheldon Kimber believes the financing allows Intersect to bring gigawatts of clean energy online and further demonstrate that the climate crisis requires a rebuild of energy and industrial infrastructure.
