Enel Green Power Spain to develop solar farm with VRFB storage space in Mallorca
- Enel Green Power Espana, the renewables division of Spanish utility Endesa SA (BME: ELE), has acquired construction permits to develop 2 smaller sized solar farms on the island of Mallorca, Spain, one of them including energy storage space in vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFB).
That project integrating solar power with storage space is called Son Orlandis and also will certainly be supplied in 2 phases, Endesa claimed.
