State-owned Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has welcomed bids for supply of five-busbar multi-crystalline solar cells with a minimum 4.52 W peak output. Amounts to be provided are 300,000.

The solar cells should be 156.75 x 156.75 mm ± 0.25 mm or 157 x 157 mm ± 0.25 mm in dimension, with cell thickness of 200 ± 20 microns. Even more, these must have uniform silicon nitride anti-reflection finish.

The front busbar has to go to the very least 0.8 ± 0.2 mm large and also back busbar 1.5 ± 0.3 mm

Only native domestic manufacturers with multicrystalline solar cell manufacturing capability of a minimal 30 MW per year are qualified to apply.
