Argentina's Genneia to develop 80-MW solar project in the house

- Argentine power manufacturer Genneia SA has actually developed an about 80-MW solar PV project in San Juan district in western part of the nation and will certainly begin building and construction next week.
The information was revealed this week by the rural government, which expects the project to bring an investment of over USD 60 million (EUR 53m) and brand-new jobs.
The site lies in the sierra in the division of Ullum close to where Genneia runs three other solar farms-- Ullum I, II and also III-- with a combined ability of 82 MW.
The Sierras de Ullum solar farm will occupy some 100 hectares (247 acres) as well as usage over 150,000 bifacial panels. It is estimated that the plant will generate sufficient power to provide 50,000 homes.
Commissioning is set for the end of 2022, the San Juan federal government claimed.
