N-Sun Energy, managed by Alantra Solar, has secured EUR 213 million in debt financing to build a 306-MWp solar portfolio in Italy and Spain. The funding was provided by a consortium of banks including Rabobank, ABN AMRO Bank, BNP Paribas, and Commerzbank. The financing consists of two medium- to long-term loans and will be used for the construction of seven PV parks.

N-Sun Energy was established last year by Alantra and Solarig, with support from Amundi Energy Transition and Reichmuth. The platform aims to invest in 1.9 GW of projects in Spain and Italy, with the first eight projects announced at its inception. The specific details of the solar parks to be constructed with the newly secured financing have not been disclosed.
