UAE's Khazna to power Abu Dhabi data centre with 7-MWp solar plant
- A joint venture of renewables programmer Masdar and also French utility EDF (EPA: EDF) has actually been awarded a project to establish a 7-MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plant to power a new data centre of UAE-based provider Khazna in Abu Dhabi.
A contract for the project has been signed in between Khazna as well as Emerge which was set up to concentrate on dispersed solar generation, energy performance and street lights in the UAE and also Saudi Arabia.
