The state federal government of Nagaland has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Hyderabad based Halo Energie Pvt Ltd to develop Nagaland's initial greenfield solar power project in Dimapur. Halo Energie is an independent power creating company.

According to the details, the solar power project will be of 20MW and created over more than 120 acres in the Ganeshnagar Industrial Area, Dimapur. The project will certainly produce regarding 28 million systems yearly.

The PPA was authorized by KD Vizo, Principal Secretary, Power, as well as Chamundeswari Nallavadla, director of Halo Energie.
