- Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC on Wednesday stated it has gotten two solar projects in Maine with an incorporated capacity in direct current (DC) of 6.6 MW from ReneSola Power Holdings.

The two projects in the portfolio are the 3.8-MW Athens Ridge solar farm and also the 2.8-MW Mars Hill solar farm.
The most recent purchase of the to-be-constructed solar farms complies with Greenbacker's purchase of the 2.5-MW Richmond Hill and the 2.8-MW Lebanon Road, two pre-operational solar farms in Maine, from ReneSola in the 2nd quarter of the year.
All four projects are grandfathered into Maine's net power invoicing program.
Greenbacker's complete capacity of solar, wind, battery storage space as well as biomass projects amounts to about 2.2 GW.
