Green Genius, Respect Energy indicator 10-year solar PPA in Poland

• Lithuanian renewables designer Green Genius stated that it has authorized a power purchase agreement (PPA) to supply 25 GWh of solar electricity to Poland's Respect Energy, a specialist in trading renewable energy.

The acquired quantity will come from 21 MW of solar PV plants that Green Genius is currently integrating in Poland.

The PPA will compete ten years, participating in pressure on January 1, 2024, Green Genius stated.

"The PPA agreement with Respect Energy is a significant part of our 4th portfolio in the Poland market. [...] I think that establishing renewable energy sources is the only way for the reliable future energy supply as well as self-reliance of the European nations", commented Povilas-Emilis Cesna, head of trading and also origination at Green Genius.

The Lithuanian firm currently runs in eight countries in Europe. It has set a target to reach 1,500 MW of capability by 2025.
