GoldenPeaks Capital secures funding for 172 MW of solar in Poland

  • Two solar portfolios with a combined capability of 172 MWp developed by Malta-based GoldenPeaks Resources in Poland have gotten mezzanine funding from The Berenberg Environment-friendly Energy Junior Debt Fund III, the fund's advisor, German lender Berenberg Bank, said today.

The financing will certainly be made use of for the construction of the two 86-MWp portfolios, each of which contains 1-MWp solar projects. All the projects have secured Contracts for Difference (CfDs) from the Polish Energy Regulatory Office.

Construction of the initial portfolio, called Bravo, is anticipated to be completed soon. The various other portfolio, Alpha, results from be finished in the first quarter of 2022. With each other, the two portfolios will certainly create power to cover the needs of about 56,200 houses and save 130,361 tonnes of co2 (CO2).
