Emeren Reaches 1GW Storage Milestone in Italy

Emeren Group Ltd has achieved a significant milestone, delivering around 1GW in development of battery storage systems. The company has formed a joint venture with Matrix Renewables, Enerpoint, and Kaizen Invest Holding to leverage its expertise and experience in the Italian solar and battery storage industry. 975MW of battery storage projects have been sold in Italy, with Ready-To-Build status expected for early 2025. Emeren has a 3GW pipeline of projects and IPP assets as well as a storage pipeline of over 10GWh across Europe, North America, and Asia.
