Aspen gets Pennsylvanian PV projects

Aspen Power has gotten a first 10 ground-mounted solar projects in northwest Pennsylvania from Sunrise Energy.
These sites, totalling 42MW, are the beginning of Aspen's agreement with Sunrise for the advancement of an 84MW portfolio and represent Aspen's first stage of its multi-hundred MW Pennsylvania approach.
The projects' building and construction is expected to begin in the coming months.
All of the projects will be net-metered under Pennsylvania's Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard Act, permitting Aspen Power to generate energy as well as market excess power back to the grid.
