Acciona Energia has inaugurated 3 solar plants completing 300MW in Chile.

The Malgarida 1 as well as 2 solar plants have a collective capacity of 238MW as well as the Almeyda solar plant has 62MW.

Chilean energy under-secretary Francisco Lopez as well as Acciona president Jose Manuel Entrecanales inaugurated the three solar plants that entered into service all in Diego de Almagro, in Atacama.

The commencement event was attended by the regional assistant of the Chilean Energy Ministry, Kim Fa Bondi, the director for the environment of Diego de Almagro, Jorge Aguilera, as well as the Mayoress of Chanaral, Margarita Flores.

Acciona Energia was represented by its chief executive officer, Rafael Mateo and the business's director-general for South America, Jose Ignacio Escobar.
