What is Photovoltaic-thermal (PV/T) system?

Often referred to as a solar-thermal system and sometimes as a total energy system. A PV system which does not only convert solar energy to electrical energy, but also collects the residual thermal energy. It supplies both electricity and heat in a usable form.
