The park has a total capacity of 49.9MW, enough to cover half of the City of London Corporation's electricity needs. The project has been funded by Santander UK, with a £25m loan to support the construction and operation. The project is part of a larger scheme, initiated by the City of London Corporation, that enables them to purchase green energy from Voltalia, at a price that is protected from the price volatility of energy markets. In addition, the project will help the Corporation reduce their carbon emissions and transition quickly away from fossil fuels. Voltalia is proud to support the City of London in their energy transition, and hope to continue to do so in the future.

- South Farm Solar Park is located in Kent, UK and spans across 59 hectares of land.
- This project will provide enough energy to power 33,000 homes a year and reduce 33,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
- The solar park is made up of 148,000 solar panels which are estimated to generate 47,000MWh of energy a year.
- The park also features a state-of-the-art energy storage system that will provide an additional 8.5MW of capacity to the grid.
- Voltalia is the largest independent renewable energy producer in Europe and has solar parks in France, Spain, Italy, Mexico, India, Brazil and the UK.
- This is the second project the company has completed with the City of London Corporation, the first being a 7MW solar park in Wales.
