TotalEnergies Expands in E.Europe: PNE Sells 208MW Solar Portfolio

PNE AG, a German energy group, has agreed to sell five solar projects totalling 208MW in Romania to TotalEnergies Renewables, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies. As part of the deal, PNE will remain responsible for further project development until the ready-to-build stage is achieved. Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE, expressed his delight that TotalEnergies trusts their expertise in the solar photovoltaic domain. The purchase price of the transaction has not been disclosed. PNE has a long-standing history in Romania, as they have successfully developed and sold 510MW of wind and solar photovoltaic projects and have an additional 1GW of projects under development.
