Total Eren, Ecopetrol partner on 100MW Columbian PV

Total Eren has partnered with Columbian energy firm Ecopetrol to implement a 100MW solar project in the Latin American country.
The Rubiales solar park will certainly be improved the website of Ecopetrol's Rubiales field, situated in the municipality of Puerto Gaitan, in the Meta Province.
Ecopetrol chose Total Eren to create, finance, develop as well as run the 100MW solar park after a shut affordable process.
The project will be had by Total Eren (51%) and Ecopetrol (49%).
Building work is scheduled to begin in the initial quarter of 2023 and the solar park is expected to begin procedures in the initial quarter of 2024.
Ecopetrol will be the end-user of the generated electrical energy for its procedure, through a 17-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
