Sungrow inks 500-MW PV inverter distribution deal in Brazil
- Chinese solar inverter maker Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) has signed a deal with Brazilian SOL+ Distribuidora, the new business arm of Holding SOL Copernico, for the distribution of 500 MW of its photovoltaic or pv (PV) inverters in the South American nation.
Under the agreement, SOL+ will become a distribution hub for Sungrow in Brazil as well as deploy the equipment throughout the country for micro and mini-distributed generation (DG) solar projects. The Brazilian firm will certainly likewise provide a warranty, support, and neighborhood technical assistance, Sungrow announced today.
