Solarcentury obtains permit to attach 177 MWp of solar in Spain

- UK programmer Solarcentury claimed that it has safeguarded grid access legal rights to attach two 88.5-MWp solar farms in the Valencian Community, Spain.
The projects, named Los Predios as well as Los Hierros, will certainly stand for an investment of over EUR 125 million (USD 149.8 m), the company stated in a statement on Monday. There will be a possibility to co-locate storage space.
The plants will be found in the Valencian districts of Turis and Alborache. Solarcentury expects to link them in the 4th quarter of 2024.
Once up and running, the two solar farms will together can creating 370 GWh of electrical energy annually.
