Solar energy provider SOFAR recently completed a 300 MW utility project in the south edge of China’s Tengger Desert. The plant is expected to generate 540 million kWh annually and save 160,000 tons of SCE per year. More than 1,300 sets of SOFAR 255KTL-HV inverters were used in the project, providing a maximum efficiency of 99.02%. The I-V scanning and SSLD feature of the inverters were also utilized, enabling efficient and safe operation. The collaboration reflects SOFAR’s dedication to contribute to global carbon neutrality. In 2022, SOFAR commissioned its new plant in Huizhou, increasing production capacity to 10 GW for inverters and 1 GWh for batteries.
