Shizen Energy to install 2.7 MW of solar for Dynax in Japan

  • Japanese renewables designer Shizen Energy Inc has authorized a power purchase agreement (PPA) under which it will set up an off-site solar power plant with a capacity of 2.75 MW/3.85 MWp on Hokkaido island.

The customer is Japan's Dynax Corporation, a supplier of drivetrain components for automobiles and construction machinery. All of the clean electricity created will be provided to Dynax's plant in Tomakomai city.

Construction is set up to commence next month with power generation readied to start in November 2023

The photovoltaic or pv (PV) plant will certainly cover 63,721 square meters (685,887 sq ft) in the Tomakomai Eastern Area, the largest enterprise zone in Japan.
