Polar Racking acquires single-axis tracker producer Axsus Solar
- PV placing systems supplier Polar Racking has acquired Axsus Solar, adding the Axsus Sol-X single-axis tracker to its item portfolio while doing so.
Canada-headquartered Polar Racking said the Sol-X has fewer components, a quick setup process and requires less ground prep work than alternatives.
"The Sol-X is a wonderful addition to the Polar line of product and will certainly expand our capacity by offering us access to a market that's significantly selecting trackers over fixed-tilt systems as a result of their greater profits generation," stated Robert Souliere, formerly a participant of the Axsus team that has been selected supervisor of procedures as well as building and construction at Polar Racking.
Being experts in commercial as well as utility-scale ground-mount, single-axis tracker as well as carport solar solutions, Polar Racking currently has an install base of more than 3GW with the addition of Axsus.
Various other M&A handle the tracker segment this year include US-headquartered producer FTC Solar acquiring Chinese peer HX Tracker while Array Technologies completed its purchase of Spain's STI Norland in January.
