Solar as well as onshore wind programmer Opdenergy has safeguarded a 750MW power purchase contract (PPA) to supply electricity from 17 solar farms in Spain to an unnamed European financial investment grade utility.

The 10-year PPA will deliver greater than 1 terrawatt-hour of electrical energy a year, the business said.

Opdenergy said it is continuing to develop the solar plants with the purpose of starting construction during the first fifty percent of 2022.

The projects will certainly be located approximately Teruel, Zaragoza, Badajoz, Cuenca and also Valladolid.
