Japanese solar firm Nippon is helping this cause by joining hands with Grandweld Shipyards to develop two solar plants that will deliver 880 MWh of clean energy per year and reduce 14,111 metric tons of carbon emissions. The firm has also signed agreements with renewable energy firms, ATG and AJB Investment, to develop a 118 MWp Hattem Solar Power Plant. This plant could generate 4,867 GWh of clean energy annually and power up 400,000 homes. All three projects are expected to be commissioned by next year.
