Newbie JV targets 4GW Spanish solar
- Greenfield PV has started procedures with a group of greater than 50 to supply 5GW of PV throughout two portfolios
Swiss investor Smartenergy and Spain's Grupo Prodiel have launched a joint venture with a solar development pipeline over of 4GW in Spain.
Greenfield PV has started out with a group of more than 50 seasoned advancement experts working on the portfolio of projects.
Additionally, Smartenergy got a project pipe exceeding 1GW of solar PV projects from Prodiel, with Greenfield PV providing growth services to both portfolios.
Grupo Prodiel vice president Miguel Some claimed: "Greenfield PV is birthed as a business dedicated to sustainable advancement and environmental conservation.
" We concentrate on a model of liable and organized development of solar PV assets."
Smartenergy principal running officer Joao Cunha included: "Greenfield PV is an archetype of the job that Smartenergy is doing by determining opportunities throughout Europe and also in this case in Spain, creating synergies throughout the whole value chain.
" With this huge action Smartenergy is currently well positioned for more growth in Spain."
