The park, built on a former military airfield, consists of 78,500 panels expected to cover the annual electricity consumption of around 25,000 residents, including heating. The project was completed in about a year, with Bouygues Energies & Services as the EPC contractor.

Neoen won the Romilly-sur-Seine project in a tender for ground-mounted PV capacity organized by the French Energy Regulatory Commission in 2021. This project is part of a larger portfolio of nine projects totaling 130.3 MWp that were successful in the competitive round, with Romilly-sur-Seine being the largest in terms of installed capacity.
