Neoen has actually signed a corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with French network driver TDF for 62MW of capacity from two solar farms.
Under the 15-year agreement, from 1 January 2026, TDF will purchase the electricity and guarantees of origin produced by the Salernes (16.8 MW, department of Var) and also Boussès (45.1 MW, department of Lot et-Garonne) solar farms.
Building and construction of both solar farms, established by Neoen in discussion with the city governments and also stakeholders in the respective locations, will start in 2023, with commissioning of the Salernes solar farm scheduled for 2024 and also Boussès to adhere to in 2025.
The company PPA will allow TDF to secure a supply of green power for a substantial part of the electricity intake of its telecommunications as well as audio-visual broadcasting sites.
