Meyer Burger to supply solar modules to Ikea franchisee
- The investment arm of Netherlands-based Ingka Group, the biggest franchisee of Swedish furnishings store IKEA, will offtake solar modules from Swiss producer Meyer Burger Technology AG for a duration of 4 years under a bargain signed in March.
The contract with Ingka Investments includes the supply of solar modules produced on the brand-new glass-to-glass item platform in Goodyear, Arizona in the United States as well as optimized for utility-scale usage, Meyer Burger stated on Wednesday. The shipment of the tools is planned to happen between 2025 and 2029.
