Juwi Acquires Hive's Greek Solar Quartet of 267MW

UK developer Hive Energy has sold a 267-MW portfolio of four solar projects in Greece to Juwi Hellas, the local subsidiary of Germany-based JUWI Group. The photovoltaic (PV) parks are to be located in Central Greece and are expected to generate enough electricity to power around 100,000 homes. This deal marks Hive Energy’s first project sale in Greece, with construction of the parks due to start in the first quarter of 2021. Juwi Hellas has successfully executed more than 60 projects in Greece with a total capacity of more than 300 MW, including the 204.3-MW Kozani park in Western Macedonia.
