JinkoSolar wins 522MW Brazil solar order

JinkoSolar has safeguarded a 522MW module order for a solar project in Brazil.

The Chinese maker will provide its Tiger Neo 78 Cell modules for Phase l of the Santa Luzia Complex Project in Paraíba state.

The project includes three Phases with Phase l currently incomplete.

When totally finished, the complete power produced by the solar farm complex will be 1.2 GW.

"Having such a distinguished and also identified companion on the market adds value to our project as well as enhances its integrity", claimed Joao Batista Meirelles, acquiring and implementation director at Rio Alto Energies Renováveis.

Phase 1 lies in a location of more than 1700 hectares in the cities of Santa Luzia and São Mamede.

The very first batches of the modules were shipped in November 2022 and the delivery of Phase l is approximated to be finished in May 2023.

Phase 1 is anticipated to be completely functional in January 2024.

Established in 2009, Rio Alto is an independent firm specialising in renewable resource generation with a concentrate on photovoltaic or pv solar plants.
