Japan's Idemitsu Kosan completes 17-MW solar plant in Iwate

  • Japanese petroleum company Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd (TYO:5019), via its subsidiary RS Renewables Co Ltd, announced on Friday it has actually placed on stream a 16.88-MW solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) park in Iwate prefecture.

The Hirono Town Solar Power Plant, as it is named, has a predicted annual generation of around 18.12 million kWh, which is equivalent to the yearly power consumption of regarding 4,000 regional homes.
