Energiequelle has begun construction of a solar project in the former fortress city of Decize in central France.

The 14.7 MWp project was created by the French Energiequelle subsidiary P&T Technologie together with EREA Ingenierie as well as won the CRE 4.6 tender in September 2019.

The tender needed the successful bidder to adhere to a strict environmental impact of no more than 450 kg equal CO2/kWp for the modules.

Over the following couple of months, around 36,000 modules with 405 Wp are expected be built by the Chinese manufacturer Talesun on 15.6 hectares.

The French group Bouygues SA will carry out the construction from the gain access to indicate the transfer station.

Building and construction administration is executed by P&T Technology and also first procedure is scheduled for July 2021.

The electrical power created will cost 5.15 cents per kWh, fixed for 20 years.

The forecast annual yield is approx 16.2 m kWh. This corresponds to the supply of 6,750 two-person houses annually.

In the last couple of years, Energiequelle has carried out photovoltaics plants in Germany, Spain and also Italy.

The company is presently in charge of the management of 22 plants
