Within the framework of the contract, Ecoppia is to provide Fortum-created systems within Pavagada and Bhadla solar farms with its unique E4 solution. The robotic cleaning leader has already entered South Asian market, deploying almost 2 gigawatts on the subcontinent, at the same time servicing more than 7 gigawatts in secured projects around the world.

The E4 technology for fixed-tilt photovoltaic systems is compatible with framed as well as frameless panels, at the same time giving no extra load onto PV surface. The exclusive solution, approved by First Solar, is going to be applied for cleaning crystalline silicon as well as frameless panels at Fortum's facilities.

According to clean-energy company director, the advanced solutions supplied by Ecoppia perfectly suit the corporation’s strategy of moving toward a cleaner earth. The cleaning technology will allow providing green energy without wasting water resources, which is to ensure solar energy generation is both economically rational and environmentally neutral, which is a great next move towards ecologically appropriate development.
