China Gezhouba Group intends 2 GW of renewables in Azerbaijan
- The federal government of Azerbaijan last week participated in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with an abroad financial investment arm of civil design business China Gezhouba Group for the implementation of 2 GW of renewable energy projects.
The signing of the deal took place during a conference in Baku in between Azeri energy preacher Parviz Shahbazov and Lin Shanqing, Deputy Administrator of China's National Energy Administration. The objective of the meeting was to go over both countries' teamwork in the field of energy as well as the development of the legal as well as lawful framework in between sector players, a news statement states.
